This is why when a book publisher takes it upon themselves to erase Israel from a map, we must take ask if our children are being deprived of knowing their heritage. It is our founding principles that have made our country great and accepting of immigrants. A country and its people must be grounded in their own cultural heritage and identity, to be accepting of other cultures.
